Hick for Gov
John Hickenlooper was elected as the 42nd Governor of Colorado in 2010, and his path to the state house was anything but traditional. And he needed a campaign that was as non-traditional as him.
The visual branding for the Hickenlooper for Governor campaign reflected John’s unique perspective, as well as channeling the colorful nature that Colorado is known for. Instead of following the defacto Americana system of flags and red, white, and blue, John’s system was built around a memorable badge shape and a Colorado color palette focused on “blue sky” and “purple mountains majesty.”
